Temporary Purchase Ledger

MacKenzie King are supporting an Ipswich business in recruit a temporary Purchase Ledger to join their team and offer additional support. The successful Purchase Ledger candidate will be someone who can work at pace whilst retaining attention to detail and accuracy. Previous Purchase Ledger experience is essential as the successful candidate will need to be able to onboard and be up to speed quickly in order to support the business. The successful Purchase Ledger Candidate will be someone who can work as part of a team but also operate on their own initiative.

Invoice and Order Processing

• Processing and Coding invoices onto the finance system
• Dealing with internal purchase invoice queries
• Dealing with internal purchase invoice queries
• Processing and management of Purchase orders

Account Management

• Maintain Supplier accounts and ensure records and credit terms are correct.
• Produce Supplier statement reconciliations.
• Manage and maintain supplier relationships.

Working Capital Management

• Production of weekly / monthly supplier payment runs.
• Ensuring invoices are paid in accordance with supplier terms.
• Meet business DPO targets.
• Daily receipt and payment processing

Reporting

• Production of Monthly Aged Payables report
• Monthly review meetings with Financial Controller

Essential skills and experience

• Relevant experience working in and managing Purchase ledger activities
• Strong Systems, IT and Microsoft office capabilities
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail.
• High levels of accuracy
• Team Player
• Open to Change / working with new systems.
