Temporary Commercial Accountant

MacKenzie King are recruiting a temporary Commercial Accountant to support a business based in North Colchester during a period of excess workload. As a temporary Commercial Accountant, you must be a strong communicator and confident when liaising with clients.

Duties & Responsibilities to include:

• Preparation of management accounts (monthly), including accrual calculations and accounting adjustments, in accordance with relevant financial reporting standards & company policies.
• Providing variance analysis and commentary to all reports produced.
• Reconciliation of balance sheets (monthly) & their review, highlighting any risk.
• Preparation & presentation of weekly/ monthly cashflows.
• Effectively communicate financial data to non-financial managers.
• Providing high quality financial support to service heads in an accurate & timely manner.
• Sharing meaningful insights from large amounts of data and advising on the financial implications of any past or proposed business decisions.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA or Qualified By Experience
• Strong Communication skills
• Experience in a similar role
• Confident on Microsoft Excel
