MacKenzie King are excited to be recruiting a Semi Senior Accountant for a reputable practice in West Ipswich. As a Semi Senior Accountant, you will have previous practice experience and be keen to develop your career within a dynamic and supportive firm.
Key tasks and responsibilities
- Working proactively and efficiently towards strict deadlines for clients
- Preparing financial statements and management accounts
- Liaising with clients to ensure that information is received in sufficient time to prepare accounts.
- Preparing Personal Tax Returns
Qualifications and experience
- Working towards an accountancy qualification (i.e AAT/ACCA/ACA)
- Experience working within an accountancy practice environment
- Previous experience using accountancy packages Xero, Quickbooks and Sage
- Knowledge of TaxCalc would be advantageous but not essential
- Be highly organised, analytical, logical and numerical
- A willingness to learn
- Able to work well within a team
