Semi Senior

MacKenzie King are excited to be recruiting a Semi Senior for a well established accountancy firm in Maldon. As a Semi Senior you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients. This will suit a competent, proactive individual that thrives within a role that provides variety.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Preparation of self assessment tax returns
• Preparation of corporation tax returns
• Dealing with external queries from clients
• Supporting junior members of the team with queries and workload management

Key Skills & Attributes:

• Strong analytical skills to analyse data and identify any discrepancies or issues
• Previous experience working within practice
• Experience using accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks
• Experience with different VAT schemes
• Excellent communication skills
• Good working knowledge of Excel
• The ability work under pressure to tight deadlines
