MacKenzie King are delighted to be recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a well-established business in Colchester. This role will suit a Purchase Ledger Clerk with experience, who enjoys working within a dynamic, friendly team.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the purchase ledger inbox
  • Processing all purchase invoices onto the system
  • Ensuring robust and accurate checking and coding of invoices
  • Addressing queries both internally and externally
  • Requesting and reconciling supplier statements
  • Performing weekly payment runs

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Previous experience using an accounting system
  • Good time management skills
  • A confident communicator, comfortable speaking to suppliers and internal operational teams to resolve invoice queries.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
  • Positive attitude and demeanour, and team player.
