MacKenzie King are supporting a fast growth business in recruiting a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk to support with high volumes and excess workload as the business approaches year end. To be well suited to this role you must have strong purchase ledger experience and be able to hit the ground running.

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Processing and entering supplier invoices and credit notes.
  • Creating and processing outgoing payments.
  • Supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Managing and resolving supplier queries to deadlines.
  • Working within the team and with other departments as required to ensure the smooth running of all accounts related processes across the business.

Qualifications and experience

  • IT proficient with a good understanding of accounting software and accounts processes.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Proactive and persistent approach.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and goal driven, with good use of own initiative to resolve challenges.
