£38,000 - £45,000 per annum
MacKenzie King are currently recruiting a Payroll Specialist for a well-respected company in the Colchester area. As a Payroll Specialist, you will use your experience and knowledge to take ownership of the company’s payroll function, working closely with both the finance and HR departments.
Key tasks and responsibilities
- Running the end to end monthly payroll
- Accurately updating employee records using the payroll software
- Running payroll processes and reconciling reports
- Managing the payroll administration of employee benefits
- Answering a wide range of queries at varying levels of complexity
- Collaborating with teams within the firm and external contacts
Qualifications and experience
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience working within payroll
- Experienced using payroll software and Excel
- Takes pride in quality of work and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload
- Strong initiative to take ownership of workload
