Management Accountant

£55,000 - £65,000 per annum
MacKenzie King are looking for a hands-on Interim Management Accountant, on an initial 3-month basis, to support a Halesworth based company. You will need to be an Interim Management Accountant that is comfortable rolling their sleeves up to help sort out a finance function that needs more structure and controls putting in place.
Key tasks and responsibilities
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Clean up and rebuild financial reports and reporting routines
- Investigate and resolve inconsistencies or historical issues
- Improve systems, processes, and controls
- Support senior leadership with accurate, timely insight
Qualifications and experience
- Strong management accounting experience (ideally in SMEs or turnaround environments)
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or QBE with demonstrable experience)
- Confidence, resilience, and the ability to challenge where needed
- Strong Excel and solid systems knowledge
