MacKenzie King are recruiting a Financial Controller for a reputable national business with a focus on sustainability. You will report into the Group Finance Director and will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial reporting and compliance for one of their divisions.

Key tasks and responsibilities

Overall responsibility for the production of internal and external financial information
Provide support to the Senior Management Team in delivering EBITDA, Cash and Working capital targets, as well as meeting the requirements of the Management Services Agreement.
Work closely with the Commercial team to ensure full visibility over costs, usage, wastage and cash flows.
Preparation of detailed annual budgets
Primary contact for the purposes of the external audits
Working alongside the Group Reporting Manager to play a pivotal role in the migration of systems onto the wider Group's current software.
Proactive cash flow management to maximise working capital positions and to ensure payments are made in line with shareholder requirements.
Provide guidance and support to other members of the Finance team.

Qualifications and experience

You will be a qualified accountant with experience of working in an integral role within a finance team and have the ability to influence people and work with all areas of a business. You will have a proven track record of excellent verbal and written communications. You will have the ability to manage your own workload and enjoy working in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
