MacKenzie King are delighted to be recruiting a Financial Controller for a global technology business based in East Suffolk. Reporting into the Finance Director this newly created role will work closely with the wider business and the senior stakeholders. As Financial Controller you will also be responsible for a team of two, their development and future hires within the team.
- Timely and accurate delivery of month end close process and providing required information to support monthly management pack.
- Managing the half year and year end annual accounts process as well as managing the day to day relationship with the groups auditors.
- Providing commentary and reports on the month end/half year and annual accounts for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Developing, documenting and improving business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Contributing to business plans and forecasting the future performance of the business.
- Support for acquisitions, including financial due diligence, post acquisition integration and acquisition accounting.
- Preparation of annual budgets for departments.
You will be a qualified accountant with significant post qualified experience in a similar Financial Controller position and have experience in leading and developing a team. It would be a great advantage if you have worked within the technology sector and have experience in a small, growing business.
