MacKenzie King are currently looking to recruit a Bookkeeper for a growing company in Halesworth. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring that accounts are managed accurately and efficiently.

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals
  • Process invoices on authorisation system
  • Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to suppliers
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with year-end audits by providing necessary documentation
  • Utilise accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central) for data entry and reporting

Qualifications and experience

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong communication skills
