MacKenzie King are proud to be working once again with one of our trusted clients who is looking to recruit two new Associate Payroll Specialists into their successful, growing team. These two new Associate Payroll Specialists will be given full training to support the business in resolving payroll enquires, ensuring accurate calculations for deductions, wages and benefits are use and sporting the team in filing taxes among other duties. This position requires the candidate to have some basic experience in either an admin or finance position previously and a want to learn and develop themselves further. The successful Associate Payroll Specialist candidate will be someone who works with high levels of accuracy, attention to detail and can work within company and HMRC policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and support the resolution of basic payroll queries within a timely manner received via phone and email
  • Updating worker details on Intime and InPay for PAYE and Umbrella organisations
  • Support in processing payroll for workers & employees, ensuring the accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with internal payroll policies, local tax & benefit legislation & company policies.
  • Support the team with tax filings, ensuring accurate reporting of wages, tax withholdings, and other payroll-related taxes.
  • Assist with the tracking and verification of attendance, hours worked, and paid time off (PTO) requests, ensuring that payroll is accurate.
  • Help prepare and distribute year-end payroll reports.
  • Assist in the maintenance of accurate payroll records, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.
  • Proactively develop new and existing long-term relationships with stakeholder groups to understand their needs and facilitate timely payments
  • Acts as a single point of contact by developing, maintaining and working to stakeholder engagement strategies and plans. Provides informed feedback to assess and promote understanding.
  • Resolve invoice issues in a timely manner liaising with relevant internal teams and departments as required.

  • Some basic finance or admin experience in a professional setting
