MacKenzie King are recruiting an Accounts Supervisor/Manager for a successful and thriving local business, based on the outskirts of Ipswich. As an Accounts Supervisor/Manager you will have ownership of Finance duties and support the overall efficient daily running of the business.

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Monitoring & Maintenance of Accounts email, ensuring all items are actioned or passed on appropriately and promptly
  • Month End processes, Reconciliations, Forecasts & Management Accounts
  • Cashflow Forecasting
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Overseeing Credit Control
  • Weekly rating checks, & Sales Invoice runs
  • Issuing Sub-Contractor recharge invoices
  • Payroll - Weekly & Monthly
  • Setting up new employees, ensuring all relevant paperwork is received 
  • Weekly Wages & Expenses Analysis
  • Calculating bonuses
  • Processing weekly, & Monthly Supplier Payment runs ready for payment
  • Weekly Profit Reporting 
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Adhoc Accounts & Administration projects and duties as required

Qualifications and experience

  • AAT or ACCA preferable but not essential
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong and effective communication skills
  • Proactive and motivated work approach
  • Sage Line 50 & Payroll experience would be advantageous
