Accounts Receivable Assistant

MacKenzie King are proud to be working once again with a trusted partner based in Ipswich to recruit an Accounts Receivable Assistant into their established team. Due to internal promotion our award winning and industry leading client is looking to offer the position of Accounts Receivable Assistant to someone looking to begin their career in accounting. The role will work within a small, committed team who will support the new Accounts Receivable Assistant through full training and future development. The successful candidate will be someone who can work with a high level of accuracy and diligence to become an effective Accounts Receivable Assistant supporting the wider business.

Key Responsibilities

• Day to day processing & reconciling payments & refunds to customers via the various payment types, credit cards, cheques and PayPal.
• Assisting with the posting of transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
• Dealing with queries in a timely and accurate manner.
• Other general admin duties within the finance department as required.
• Attend team meetings and contribute effectively to ensure deadlines are met.
• Communicate regularly with their line manager to ensure that the business is delivering to a high standard.

Key Skills & Attributes

• Accuracy & attention to detail.
• Good systems skills, to include Microsoft Excel.
• Previous experience working on an ERP system is advantageous.
