£24,000 - £30,000 per annum

MacKenzie King are excited to be recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a well-established business in the Felixstowe area. As an Accounts Assistant you will be working on both the Purchase ledger and the Sales Ledger within a small, friendly finance team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process Purchase Ledger invoices
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchase ledger records.
  • Answering queries both internally and externally
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Record and allocate payments
  • Reconcile customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Supporting both month and year end processes as and when needed


Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Experience within an accountancy role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work off of your own initiative
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Sage experience is preferable, but not essential
