MK Easter Egg Appeal 2026 - Bigger Than Ever!

Each spring, we invite our clients and local businesses to take part in our Easter Egg Appeal by donating Easter Eggs for local charities - and 2026 was no exception! Thanks to your generosity, we were once again able to deliver hundreds of thoughtfully donated eggs to the charities we support, spreading smiles and joy throughout the Easter season.

This year, we were proud to support the following charities:

Charities - Easter Egg Appeal 2026

The Process

This year, Easter fell sooner than previous years. With this in mind, to ensure we would be able to deliver the eggs to charities before the last week of March we reached out to local charities in early January, to better understand their needs and preferred delivery dates, ensuring our contributions would have the greatest impact.

The MacKenzie King team then sprang into action, connecting with our valued clients and local partners to gather support for our Easter Egg Appeal. The generosity we received was overwhelming, with countless companies eager to donate eggs and join us in spreading the joy of giving back.

Once the donations were confirmed, we shifted our focus to organising the collection process. The MK team set out on egg-collection missions throughout February and early March. Each time they returned to the office, their cars were packed with donations!

The response was nothing short of incredible. So many companies supported, that our boardroom had to double as a temporary egg storage facility. We ensured the heating was turned off to keep the chocolate from melting!

With all the eggs collected, Bethany then went through and sorted and prepared the eggs ready to be delivered!

About The Charities The Appeal Has Supported

We were deeply grateful for the unwavering support received for our appeal and we wanted to provide a glimpse into the remarkable work of the charities we were privileged to support:

St Helena Hospice is a Colchester based charity which provides specialist palliative and end of life care to local people facing incurable illness in north east Essex, supporting them, their families, friends and carers.

They reach out to members of the community, helping them make their own choices and live with dignity. By focusing on their physical, emotional and spiritual needs, they aim to bring comfort and relief to all those who need it, offering the people of north east Essex individual care and total support, regardless of their diagnosis or personal circumstances.

St Elizabeth

St Elizabeth Hospice is here for people living with progressive and life-limiting illness. They offer expert care and support to help them, and their families, maximise the potential from the time they have left.

Their work is centred around an individual's needs. They provide specialist support wherever it is needed, in your home, in the community or at our hospice.

A heartfelt thank you!

We want to take this time to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported the 2026 Easter Egg Appeal. Your kindness and generosity will make such a difference to families and individuals this Easter!

A total of 1,900 eggs were donated for the appeal and there were a lot of big smiles!

Our Easter Egg Appeal has now donated over 10,000 Easter Eggs across the past few years - a milestone we couldn’t have reached without your continued support.

Thank you!
