Highlights from our Annual Candidate & Client Survey

Once again, we’re delighted with the feedback we received from our Annual Candidate and Client Experience Survey.

At MacKenzie King, we’re passionate about making sure that all our accountancy candidates and clients receive a great service that meets their individual needs. So, when we hear that our community feels fully supported, it warms our hearts.

An excellent candidate experience

Our commitment to candidate care really shone through. Overall, candidates scored our services between 4.41 and 4.97 (out of 5) across nine different areas, with some of the highlights, including:

  • 78 for our response times upon first contact
  • 94 on likelihood of recommending our services to friends and colleagues
  • 91 on overall candidate experience with us

When asked to describe MacKenzie King in just three words, our candidates shared that they see us as ‘professional’, ‘friendly’ and ‘trustworthy’, with many going on to share a more detailed summary. Below are a few extracts:

A specialist service clients can trust

Mirroring responses from our candidates, our clients also scored us highly across nine different service areas.

  • 1% of clients said that they would recommend us to others
  • 100% had either an excellent or good overall experience
  • 2% reported our response times on first contact to be excellent

Our clients also revealed that they consider us to be ‘professional’, ‘personable’, ‘honest and trustworthy’. They know that when they turn to us for support in recruiting accountancy professionals, that we can quickly find them the right people.

The survey also revealed that the top three reasons why clients use our services time and again, are that:

  • We have a large established community of candidates
  • They have an increased chance of recruiting the perfect candidate
  • Our fees are fair

The main reason why we survey our candidates and clients is not just to hear how well we’re doing. We use the feedback to make sure that we are always meeting expectations and moving forward with our service. After all, it’s this level of attention to detail that people expect from us, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
