MacKenzie King Easter Egg Appeal 2024

Our Easter Egg Appeal returned for 2024!

Each spring we ask our clients, and local businesses, to donate Easter Eggs that we then deliver to local charities. The kindly donated eggs are then shared between local charities, including; Suffolk Mind, St Elizabeth Hospice, The Mix, Autism Anglia, Bury Drop In and Survivors in Transition.

The Process

This year, with Easter landing earlier, on March 31st, our planning was brought forward earlier, than previous years. We reached out to local charities in January to understand their needs and ideal delivery dates, ensuring our contributions would make the biggest impact possible!

The MacKenzie King team then sprang into action, connecting with our valued clients and local partners to rally support for our Easter Egg Appeal. We were overwhelmed by the generosity, with countless companies eager to donate eggs and share in the joy of giving back!

Once the numbers were confirmed, the logistics of egg collection became our focus. Ted, Ben and Stephanie, three of our of Consultants at MacKenzie King, embarked on egg-collection missions early on in February, returning to the office with their cars brimming with donations!

The donations were so generous, the board room had to make a sacrifice, temporarily doubling as our storage space resulting in the heating having to remain off, to ensure the eggs we stored in there wouldn’t melt!

When all the eggs were collected we worked together, compiling the eggs ready to be donated to our charities.
