MacKenzie King are excited to be recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk for an award-winning national business, based on the outskirts of Ipswich. As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will work closely with one other to ensure the integrity of the purchase ledger function remains intact.

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Day to day processing of purchase invoices and matching to purchase orders and ensuring the Company’s approval process is adhered to throughout the purchase ledger
  • Managing communications with other departments and external suppliers
  • Processing credit card transactions at the end of the month within a timely manner
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements to the purchase ledger accounts
  • Preparing payment proposals in line with cashflow forecasts
  • Dealing with queries in a timely and accurate manner
  • Other general admin duties within the finance department as required

Qualifications and experience

  • Experiece working in a Finance team
  • Good Excel and systems knowledge
  • Team player mentality
  • Can do attitude
