MacKenzie King are recruiting an InsolvencyAdministrator for a respected Accountancy Practice based in Ipswich, Suffolk. As an Insolvency Administrator, you will support the team by ensuring all work is carried out in a timely and compliant manner whilst satisfying client requirements. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to learn new skills with a drive to progress in their career.
Key tasks and responsibilities
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Creditor and debtor input on to Insolvency Practitioners System (IPS)
Preparing standard documents/letters from IPS and Insolvency and Recovery Department templates
IPS bank reconciliations, bank postings and managing departmental client accounts
Setting up and archiving working files
Answering telephone calls and taking detailed messages where appropriate
Preparing bills on request from portfolio-holders.
Preparing dividends on request from portfolio-holders
Listing and archiving debtor records
Supporting senior staff in the progression and management of cases
Dealing with incoming correspondence by post, email and telephone
Works closely with administrators, colleagues and senior members of staff in order to learn the fundamentals of insolvency
Qualifications and experience
Qualifications and Experience
Very strong communication skills both written and verbally.
Excellent administration skills
Experience of using Microsoft packages including Outlook and computerised packages.
The ability to be empathetic and sensitive to clients’ individual financial circumstances
Strong organisation skills
An adaptable and driven attitude when working towards a solution
Confidence in developing relationships with people at all levels of the firm and with external training and service providers
Ability to multitask able to manage several different tasks to completion in a timely manner
