Financial Controller – Sole charge

A well established Business Services company based in Mid Kent are currently seeking a talented individual to join them in a newly created role.

This is a pivotal role within the Company and requires someone who is looking at their career development in both the short and long term. The company are currently looking at the structure of their group and have identified key opportunities significantly improve process and efficiency.

You will be a Recently Qualified / Qualified by experience or Final stage studier looking to take on something completely new.

Experience working independently in a sole charge capacity would be hugely advantageous as this role will initially involve you looking after a subsidiary business accounting in its entirety, although it will sit alongside other subsidiary accounting teams. Your responsibilities will encompass everything from “bottom to top” and will include handling all the ledgers, all internal and external management, financial and statutory reporting. Knowledge or previous experience of US Gaap and US regulatory reporting would also be advantageous but is in no way essential.

Advanced excel skills will also be required.
