Finance Assistant 

MacKenzie King are delighted to be recruiting an Finance Assistant for a forward thinking, and ambitious international business based in Ipswich. The role will be working as part of a team assisting in providing an efficient and accurate financial service. The role will work closely with both the Financial Controller and Legal Accounts Manager.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Administration of outsourced expenses system
  • Review and action of outsourced expenses audit statistics report
  • Administration of company credit cards
  • Posting petty cash receipts and payments
  • Reconciliation of petty cash
  • Set up of new suppliers
  • Administration of process for out of date cheques
  • Administration of charity funds
  • CHAPS/BACS/International payments
  • Ad-hoc general ledger analysis
  • Ad-hoc sales invoices
  • Assisting with year end statutory audit
  • Assist and support the Accounts Team in their duties as required including effectively receive and process payments and receipts for client and office accounts


  • Desirable if AAT qualified or working towards
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Good organisation and administrative skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritise
  • Excellent communication skills
