Finance Assistant
MacKenzie King are delighted to be recruiting an Finance Assistant for a forward thinking, and ambitious international business based in Ipswich. The role will be working as part of a team assisting in providing an efficient and accurate financial service. The role will work closely with both the Financial Controller and Legal Accounts Manager.
Responsibilities will include:
- Administration of outsourced expenses system
- Review and action of outsourced expenses audit statistics report
- Administration of company credit cards
- Posting petty cash receipts and payments
- Reconciliation of petty cash
- Set up of new suppliers
- Administration of process for out of date cheques
- Administration of charity funds
- CHAPS/BACS/International payments
- Ad-hoc general ledger analysis
- Ad-hoc sales invoices
- Assisting with year end statutory audit
- Assist and support the Accounts Team in their duties as required including effectively receive and process payments and receipts for client and office accounts
Required
- Desirable if AAT qualified or working towards
- Strong Excel skills
- Good organisation and administrative skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to effectively prioritise
- Excellent communication skills
