Accounts Payable Manager

My client based in Ipswich are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join this fast paced and friendly team. You will be Managing a team of 8/9 people who carry out the transactional Purchase Ledger processes. You will report into a Finance Manager who will offer full support and training.

*** Previous Accountants Payable experience is essential***

Key Duties: –

  • Supervise the Accounts Payable team by assigning and directing workload
  • Manage the transactional activities across the team
  • Ensure month end reporting deadlines are achieved
  • Manage urgent payment requests and queries
  • Implementation of training and development requirements for staff
  • Ensure metrics are gathered and reported on a monthly basis

Desired Skills and Experience:-

  • Previous experience as an AP Manager
  • Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable Processes
  • Excellent MS Excel skills
