Accounts Assistant

MacKenzie King are excited to be recruiting an Accounts Assistant on a 1 Year Fixed Term Contract for a successful international business, based in Felixstowe. As an Accounts Assistant you will provide support to the Finance Manager with the day to day finance processes in addition to the analysis and review of financial data.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of month end accounts.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and analytical support.
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Assist in delivering enhanced balance sheet transparency and control.
  • Assist with external and internal audit work.
  • Working with the AR/AP Controller to support collections/payment processes as required.
  • Supporting with ad-hoc projects.

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Experience of supply chain and logistics would be desirable.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent reporting and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work at both detail and summary level.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Part AAT qualified would be desirable.

To be successful in this role you will have experience of financial processes, providing detailed analysis, combined with excellent people skills.
