Accounts and Administration Assistant

MacKenzie King are recruiting an Accounts and Administration Assistant for a successful and thriving local business, based on the outskirts of Ipswich. As an Accounts and Administration Assistant you will take ownership of finance duties, and assist with general administration tasks to support the overall efficient daily running of the business.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Weekly rating checks and Sales Invoice runs
  • Reconciling sales & importing to sage
  • Issuing Sub-Contractor recharge invoices
  • Update cashflow & Sage for customer payments received
  • Issuing customer statements & Credit Control
  • Setting up new employees, ensuring all relevant paperwork is received & saved
  • Processing timesheets for weekly payroll
  • Weekly wages & expenses analysis
  • Checking & updating Subcontractor Invoices
  • Input purchase ledger invoices to sage
  • Processing weekly Supplier Payment runs
  • Processing new Sub-contractor details and monitoring existing Sub-Contract insurance expiries
  • Weekly reporting & fuel monitoring
  • Assisting with month end processes, reconciliations, forecasts & management accounts
  • Monitoring & Maintenance of accounts email
  • Answering Incoming telephone calls
  • Assist with processing bookings
  • Adhoc accounts & administration projects and duties as required
