We’re wrapping up another productive year for the Christmas holidays, a much loved 10 days where we refresh with our loved ones and return in January with that “cup of ambition”.
As this year draws to a close we’ve really enjoyed reflecting on all that 2022 has delivered for MacKenzie King.
One of our highlights was our re-brand in May following a very team-inspired and thorough design process. Our favourite changes are our warm colour palette and accent imagery across our stationery and website pages to reflect our working style. The new, improved website has received great feedback - being more user-friendly is obviously working well for us. Check out the ‘Insights’ page to browse our blogs this year or the ‘Jobs’ page to see our latest vacancies.
In March, Ben Dotesio-Eyers joined our team to look after Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding area. Ben is incredibly personable, and he’s naturally developed some fantastic relationships with clients and candidates, old and new. We love having his big personality in the office.
July blessed us with another new addition when Stacy Barr joined as our Accountant. Not only does Stacy come with incredible knowledge and confidence in the role, she’s super bubbly and she often brings in home baked foods so we couldn’t be happier.
The past year, we’ve also stepped-up our support for our local community and charitable causes. The team have all played a part in offering a morning here and there, and donating to charities including Headway Suffolk, St. Elizabeth Hospice, Ormiston, Macmillan and Suffolk Prickles. We have also made donations to sponsor a few of our clients’ fundraising events over the year and attended a couple of charity quiz nights – we probably need to brush up on our quiz skills, but we didn’t come last (by the skin of our teeth). We’ve all enjoyed our experiences in supporting local charities and we will continue to keep this as an essential part of what we do to ‘give back’..
Every quarter we take a day out of the office to review and celebrate our achievements followed by some forward planning for the following quarter. This year we were lucky enough to deliver these at Fynn Valley Terrace and invite guest speakers. Not only is this a beautiful venue with spectacular views, but the delicious food was as much a highlight as the team games.
We would like to comment on the feedback and testimonials that we’ve received this year, which are truly heart-warming! We are so proud to be meeting all our values and making such a positive impact to people’s lives and businesses alike.
We’ve loved every minute of reading our annual survey replies, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the results.
Above all that, we have seen yet another even more fruitful year in bringing our wonderful candidates and clients together. We send our thanks to everyone who has chosen to work with MacKenzie King this year and we look forward to continuing to support you.
