Spreading some MacKenzie King Christmas Cheer!

The team at MacKenzie King recently spread some Christmas cheer by enjoying a Christmas jumper day for charity! Enjoying a ‘casual Wednesday’ and donning our finest Christmas attire, we raised over £100 for Safer Places, a charity who do much good within the Essex community, and who we have long been in support of.

Safer Places is an independent charity who provide a comprehensive range of services to adults and children living in west Essex, mid Essex, east Hertfordshire and Southend who have been affected by domestic and sexual abuse. They work closely with families to enable them to overcome the impact of their experiences and to build a brighter and safer future for themselves and their children.

Aside from the monetary donation, everyone in the office also filled Christmas boxes with gifts for families in need who are supported by Safer Places. By doing so, we hope that we’ve been able to give something back to the community, and help children and families who may be in a difficult place over the Christmas period. Some children supported by the charity may not receive much else this festive season, and so we hope our small gifts will help to make their Christmas that bit merrier.

It’s always lovely to have a fun day like this in the office, and of course we hope that we’ve been able to spread a little bit of Christmas cheer to those less fortunate than ourselves at the same time.
