Mackenzie King are currently recruiting an Interim Finance Business Partner for a national organisation with an office in Suffolk. The contract will be for an initial term of three months but an extension may be offered along with the opportunity to apply for the role permanently if desired. It will work alongside the Senior Leadership Team supporting the development and delivery of the business strategy, delivery of quarterly forecasts and annual budget. There will be a requirement to work out of the London office up to 2 days a month.

Key tasks and responsibilities

To provide strategic and insightful management information, support and recommendations to the Business Units based on analysis of operational performance, economic trends and competitor landscape.
To support and partner the Business Units, developing their financial awareness and understanding, to drive commercial decision making.
To work with Management Accounts and the Business Units, acting as the key point of liaison between both parties, providing commercial oversight and knowledge for month end reporting commentary
To evaluate investment appraisals and business cases to ensure maximum benefit is being generated to the charity

Qualifications and experience

Proven experience of Business Partnering in a complex business environment.

Experience of working with senior business leaders to improve performance.

Ability to deliver high quality solutions with multiple deadlines within a pressurised environment.

Qualified Accountant

Advanced Excel and business modelling skills

A proactive approach to work with the ability to influence
