Accounts Assistant

MacKenzie King is delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on behalf of a successful and established business based in Maldon. Reporting into the Purchase Ledger Manager, the successful candidate will take responsibility for:

Responsibilities

  • Posting of credit card expenses
  • Posting of cash expenses
  • Posting and analysing utility bills
  • Account reconciliations
  • Chasing VAT invoices for all proforma payments
  • Processing purchase ledger invoices
Essential Skills/Experience
  • Good understating of the purchase ledger cycle
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and company guidelines
  • Be organized with the ability to multitask efficiently
  • Be confident and show initiative
  • Have extensive knowledge of Microsoft office to include Word, Excel

Summary

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a similar function and will be actively studying towards AAT. Candidates with a background in a high volume large company environment will have a distinct advantage, although this is not essential. Due to location, you must be a driver.
